How much experience does Chip's Place have?

Chip's Place was founded in 2001 (with 4 beds).  (Of course our founder, Chip Healy, was already experienced in this field.)

 
How many beds do you have now?
Today (2007) Chip's Place has 32 beds in 7 buildings, all on one campus.
 
Does Chip's Place have any approvals?
Chip's Place has been approved for use as a Transitional Living Facility by the State of Tennessee and Metro Nashville - Davidson County.
 
Do residents sign a contract?
No contracts are required of residents.
 
Are there minimum/maximum stays?
We ask residents for a commitment of at least 90 days. There is no maximum. A typical successful experience is an eight month stay.
 
Do you recommend any literature?
We suggest AA's Big Book, Alcoholics Anonymous & 12 Steps and 12 Traditions.  We have more suggestions after these become familiar.
